World Vision New Zealand

A television documentary supported by commercials, magazine display advertising and PR, to acquire new Child Sponsors.

Results:

  • Massive primetime and integrated publicity for World Vision Child Sponsorship.

  • Glowing reviews in national and regional papers.

  • Hundreds of new sponsors for the world’s poorest children.

  • 7:30pm prime time slot on TV2.

The Story

Black developed ‘Five Days in Bangladesh’ as a 1-hour TVNZ documentary for primetime screening. We filmed Lucy Lawless in Bangladesh experiencing the work of World Vision first hand.

To drive Child Sponsor enquiries, TVCs were placed in the doco’s ad breaks and for ten days post-broadcast.

PR included Lucy Lawless features in TV Guide and NZ Woman’s Weekly.
